My writing is based on 30+ years of training experience and personal growth. Through testing different approaches, I developed a method for building true strength—both physical and mental..

Beginnings

I began training with weights at the age of 13, inspired by bodybuilding articles in sports magazines of the time. Through trial and error, I learned what worked for me—what methods delivered real results.
With a few short breaks, I now carry over 30 years of consistent gym-based training, not in the classic Olympic sense, but in what I call “gym sports”: bodybuilding at times, though more often powerlifting.

Organizer

In 2012, I fully committed to powerlifting—both as a competitor and as an event organizer.
I was one of the founders of the Croatian Powerlifting Federation, serving as vice president from 2012 to 2014. Later, I co-founded the Croatian Powerlifting Organization and served as its president from 2016 to 2018.

Over the years, I’ve organized and co-organized more than 20 powerlifting competitions across Croatia. I’m also the author of PowerMeets, a custom software system for managing powerlifting events—from registration and scoring to live online results.

Competitor

As an athlete, I’ve competed in over 15 official national and international competitions, making me one of the most experienced lifters in Croatia.
I’ve won 4 gold medals at the European Championships (2012, 2013 – GPC), a gold at the GPA European Championship (2016), and a gold medal in powerlifting at the 2016 GPC World Championship. I’ve also earned silver and bronze medals at World Championships in 2012 and 2013.

In 2013, I set world squat records of 227.5 kg (GPC, M1 –82.5 kg) and 232.5 kg (GPA-D, M1 –90 kg, drug tested).

Official personal bests:

  • Squat: 232.5 kg

  • Bench Press: 140 kg

  • Deadlift: 230 kg

Powerlifting in Croatia

In 2016, I published the e-book “Powerlifting u Hrvatskoj 1991.-2016., kako se stvarao hrvatski powerlifting”, documenting the history of Croatian powerlifting—from its early beginnings in the 1990s to its eventual institutional recognition and rise in popularity.

The Zone Experience

In 2002, I published “Buđenje svijesti” (Awakening of Consciousness), a book rooted in direct personal experience—what some would call mystical.

Years of training have taught me that physical effort can awaken something deeper. Through gym work, it is possible to shape not only the body but the spirit—to develop willpower and raise consciousness.

That process became the foundation for what I call the Go Max Method—a way of training that aims to bring you into the zone, a state of strength and clarity in everyday life.
